Jason Pogue, PLPC

Jason is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. He received his Master of Arts in Counseling and Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. Prior to entering the counseling profession, Jason had a wide range of work experiences including childcare, construction, business, teaching and higher education that have all helped equip him to meet you where you are.

“I provide individual, couples, and group counseling to adolescents and adults in various hard places and with many different concerns such as anger, depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief/loss, vocational issues and direction, sexual issues, working through past childhood abuse (physical, sexual, and emotional), family issues, identity/self-image, and spiritual struggles.”

“Over the years I have learned that even under the best circumstances the world we live in can deliver us painful and confusing realities that we would not have chosen ourselves. When the people we love betray us, those in authority use it against us, and our minds and bodies seem to imprison us, we often find ourselves stuck in places where we feel empty, overwhelmed, alone, and hopeless. Wherever you are, I would be honored to join you there and walk alongside you toward a more life-giving place. Though the pain is incredibly real, so is the possibility of a full and satisfying life.”

Jason is currently supervised by Jonathan Hart, LPC (license #2008027389).
