In 2025, we served 1,133 individuals, a 34% increase from 2023. We provided over $765,000 in donated counseling services, ensuring that cost was never a barrier to care. And most remarkably, 90% of our clients met at least one of their treatment goals, a testament to the life-changing work happening every day within our walls.
This year also marked a major milestone: Towards the end of Q4 we purchase a 3rd location. This new location is location next door to our current Richmond Heights office and will give us 6 additional offices and a conference/workshop area. We are pumped to officially open this space at the end of February 2025. Our mission is simple: equitable access to quality, affordable counseling for all.
While we celebrate these achievements, we also remain acutely aware of the national mental health crisis we are part of addressing:
- In the U.S., there are 340 people for every mental health provider.
- Missouri ranks 44th in the nation for mental illness prevalence and lack of access to care.
- Suicide is the second leading cause of death among children aged 10-14.
- 1 in 5 youth experienced a major depressive episode in 2024, yet only half received treatment.
These sobering statistics remind us that our work is far from over.
