Our Medications Management program serves adolescents (ages 13+) and adults and provides compassionate care for low- to moderate-acuity psychiatric needs, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and OCD. We offer thorough psychiatric evaluations, personalized medication management, ADHD assessments, and non-stimulant treatment options tailored to your care plan.

Scope of Practice & Clinical Boundaries

To ensure safe and effective care, our outpatient practice focuses on low- to moderate-acuity psychiatric needs. Recognizing practice limits allows us to connect patients with the most appropriate level of support.

Care Environment & Service Boundaries

Because we operate as a small outpatient practice within a therapy center, we are unable to provide the level of oversight required for high-acuity, complex psychiatric conditions or significant medical complexity.

  • Controlled Substances: We do not prescribe controlled sleep medications, benzodiazepines, or ongoing stimulant medications for ADHD.

  • ADHD Care: We offer ADHD evaluations and non-stimulant treatment options. If stimulant medication is clinically indicated, we will help connect you with a provider who offers that service.

  • Substance Use: We do not offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders.

  • Lithium Management: We do not provide the ongoing laboratory monitoring required for lithium therapy.

Primary Care Partnership

Physical and mental health are closely connected. We strongly encourage all patients to maintain a relationship with a Primary Care Provider (PCP) for routine medical evaluations, lab work, and overall health monitoring. If you do not have a PCP, we can provide referral options.

Care Coordination & Referrals

If an initial evaluation or ongoing treatment indicates that your needs require a higher level of care or specialized services, we will discuss this transparently and provide appropriate referral recommendations.

Our Approach to Care

Mental health treatment extends beyond medication. We listen carefully, offer evidence-based recommendations, and collaborate directly with you and your therapist to support your goals in a respectful, empowering environment.
