Avenues Counseling offers group counseling for those wanting to work through the healing process in a community with others dealing with the same struggles.
Creative Coping: Art & Emotion Regulation | Ages 10-12
Join us for this fun and supportive group is designed for youth who need extra help with handling big emotions and developing stronger social skills. Through a creative blend of DBT-adapted tools, art therapy, and play-based activities, youth will learn to better understand themselves and others. Each session offers a safe space for self-expression and emotional exploration, helping participants build confidence and resilience through hands-on creativity.

In this group, they will learn:

  • How to recognize and express feelings through art
  • Coping strategies for big emotions using creative tools
  • Positive ways to connect with others
  • Emotion regulation in everyday situations

Join other tornado survivors in a supportive space to explore and share your experiences through your choice of either art or writing activities.

In this group you will:

  • Be in a safe place to process your experience with other survivors
